Clearly somewhere between getting on the plane in London and arriving in NYC, I entered The Future. A lot of talk of robots and robotics. More than a few people who are thinking about seriously big mechanized visions. Fascinating.
What comes after a hit game title?
I was talking on a panel with some of the biggest games brands in the world right now. Lots of interesting debate about what the current single-title hit companies do next. Lots of eyeballs, lots of revenue. But only one title. So what comes next?
A topic which is right up there with robots. An increasing number of new 3D printing companies floating around. Unquestionably some serious disruption for toy companies coming down the line.
Small is definitely the future. I have to say that F.ounders is probably the most efficient event I’ve been to. No time-wasters and great conversations. If I’d to choose just one conference a year (which I wish I could), it’d be this one. A common assessment.
