About Founderware

My name is Dylan Collins. I help build companies in the technology, entertainment and video games sectors. I’ve been CEO, Chairman, advisor and NXD of various technology and games companies including Brown Bag Films (acquired by 9Story), Jolt Online (acquired by GameStop), DemonWare (acquired by Activision Blizzard) and Phorest (acquired in MBO) and several others.

Today I’m CEO at SuperAwesome, the technology platform which powers much of the under-13 Internet, and Chairman of Potato (acquired by AKQA/WPP). I’m also a Venture Partner with Hoxton Ventures.

In my spare time I serve as the Startup Ambassador for the Irish government.

I started Founderware as a dedicated site for my posts about startups, technology and general business but also as a platform for posts from other (more) interesting people.

You can get in touch with me on dylancollins [at] gmail [dot] com or @mrdylancollins or LinkedIn. Oh and my Angel List profile is here if you want to pitch me something.
